Nestled in Chifley, McShane Studio was approached to add a modern light filled extension to this residence but not depart from the personality of its past. This, coupled with the fusion of indoors and outdoors allowed for an opportunity to elevate this abode.

Inspired by the original tiered roofing, a homage to mid century architecture, the entryway was enhanced through an elevation of the middle roof creating a light and grand entrance to the household whilst retaining its past charm. Large windows enabled the perfect integration with nature. 

The evolved floor plan allowed for a seamless flow and separate zoning allowed for the home to operate effectively during all seasons, meeting the type of living our client wanted to achieve.
